Terms & Conditions

By booking a tour with marrakechtofesdeserttours “a brand of Travel Design“ (referred to in these conditions as “we”), you will accept these conditions on your behalf and from all other people who use our services in accordance with the reservation made by you.

Reservation and payment procedures:

Once you have agreed on the quoted itinerary and price, we will deliver a detailed itinerary and an invoice with payment details. Your reservation will be confirmed after receiving the initial deposit of 30% of your invoice. We accept payments through Visa, Master Card, PayPal and bank transfer). Payment terms are as follows:

    30%: Initial Deposit (possibility to pay in full)
    70%: If you have not paid in full, the rest is paid in cash to the driver of the excursion in cash.

Changes in your reservations:

We will make all possible arrangements for your reservation without additional charges. Please note that traveling within 15 days of the start date of your trip may not be feasible. If you need to make any changes, please contact us as soon as possible and confirm your request in writing with us. Again, we will try to accommodate you so there are no additional charges, but we cannot guarantee it. If it is not possible to make changes to your reservation for any reason, you have the option to proceed with the arrangements originally reserved, or to cancel and pay cancellation charges (if any) as follows:

Cancellation policy:

Please notify us as soon as possible if you wish to cancel your travel arrangements in writing. The cancellation fee depends on the number of days we receive your written notification of cancellation before the start of your trip.

If you cancel:

    over 21 days: Free cancellation
    Between 11 and 20 days: Penalty of 15% of the total tour price
    less than 10 days: Penalty of 30% of the total tour price

Unforeseen circumstances.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, we offer you the change of the date of the excursion, without any additional cost. Unforeseen circumstances include, but are not limited to, natural or nuclear disasters, war or threat of war, riots, terrorists, fires, adverse weather conditions, and others.

Special Requests.

Any special requirements that are important to your reservation (food, medical assistance, wheelchair assistance or others) must be provided before booking, in writing. We will pass the information on to our provider partners to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for you. If there are special requests that we cannot fulfill, we will advise you in writing before booking your trip. Please let us know of any preferences you may have when making reservations (hotel locations, bed configurations, etc.) and we will try to accommodate all of your requests. No compensation will be paid if such requests cannot be honored.


We do not offer any insurance. It is your full responsibility to obtain appropriate travel insurance. We encourage you to have travel insurance in case of illness, cancellation, loss of luggage, delays and others.

Our responsibility:

We accept responsibility if any part of your travel arrangements are not as described in your reservation and are not of a reasonable standard. We will pay reasonable compensation (limited to the maximum amount we have been paid for that part of the travel arrangements), unless there was no fault on our part or our supplier partners. Please note that we assume no responsibility for personal injury, illness, damage, death or loss incurred during your trip.

Travel documentation:

You are responsible for ensuring possession of required valid travel documents. Your passport must be valid for 6 months before entering the country. It is the sole responsibility of tour participants to ensure that all passport and visa requirements are met prior to the tour departure date.

Privacy and Confidentiality:

We take full responsibility for ensuring that adequate security measures are in place to secure the private and confidential information that you provided to us during the reservation. Your collected information will be used to make reservations with hotels and any other third-party provider as necessary to complete your travel arrangements. We will share your nutritional, medical or disability information with the necessary provider partners to ensure a safe and enjoyable trip for you. By making a reservation with us, you agree that this information be transmitted to all relevant persons.


In the unlikely event that you are not satisfied with our service, please contact your driver / hotel / guide immediately, who will work to help resolve the issue immediately. If this is not possible, please contact us by phone or in writing with details of the matter, to immediately resolve the problem.
